As a follow up to the January 19, 2009 letter speaking to the consumer alerts regarding Peanut Butter products, Keefe Group would like to provide you with the most updated information we have from our manufacture’s, as well as the FDA.  To date the only items we have purchased that have been recalled by the FDA are as follows:

If you have any of these products in your inventory it is requested by the manufacturer to contact your Keefe Account manager immediately and dispose of the product. 

Keefe Group would like to reaffirm our Private Label brands are not associated with the federal governments ongoing Salmonella investigation and expanding recall.  Neither Keefe Group nor any of its suppliers purchase any ingredients from the Peanut Corporation of America for our Keefe Group’s Private Label brand of products is not affected by this recall.  Our Private Label brands are as follows:
